Anna Beecher a writer, theatre maker and educator. Her first novel, Here Comes the Miracle came out this year with Weidenfeld & Nicolson. It’s a story about family and loss which explores the beautiful and violent randomness of life. Anna has presented theatre work with venues including Lincoln Center in New York, Southbank Center, the Barbican and the Lowry and has performed as a storyteller and spoken word artist at festivals including Glastonbury and Latitude. She studied at the BRIT School for the Performing Arts, the University of Westminster and University of Virginia, where she was a Poe Faulkner Fellow. Anna teaches writing, literature and theatre classes and workshops and coaches other writers to perform their own texts with more confidence and presence. Her work is about love.
